How are food tablets manufactured?

When manufacturing food tablets, the powder mixture of nutrients is poured into a funnel. The tablet press is then used: this is a machine that forms the powder into solid food tablets under high pressure.

Are there food tablets that are only suitable for certain fish?

Yes, with food tablets there is a difference between sinking tablets and adhesive tablets.

Sinking tablets are suitable for fish that feed at the bottom of the tank (e.g. catfish) and adhesive tablets are for fish in middle water zones (e.g. cichlids).

Our Spirulina sinking tablets are the ideal food for all bottom-feeding fish (catfish) and invertebrates (prawns, aquarium crabs). These solid tablets dissolve in the aquarium over time and thus release the food to the predominantly herbivorous aquarium inhabitants.

Our various adhesive tablets are the ideal food for ornamental fish. Their special composition of animal ingredients makes the adhesive tablets a real treat that provides important nutrients. They are easily stuck to the side of the aquarium glass using your finger. The pre-formed solid tablets dissolve slowly in the water and release the food to the aquarium inhabitants (ornamental fish, prawns).

Can I customise my fish tablets order (weight, quantity, etc.)?

The minimum order quantity is one container, which equates to 10 kg. These containers each contain ten 1 kg bags (= 10 x 1 kg). As such, you can order one or more packaging units (=10 kg) of each product and create a customised composition.

Which important ingredients are used in the food tablets?

Our food tablets are manufactured from a mixture of high-quality ingredients. The main ingredients include gammarus, shrimps, fish, vegetables and fruits. The exact composition is made up of fish and fish derivatives, molluscs and crustaceans, plants and derivatives of vegetable origin, grains, algae, yeasts, oils, fats, vegetables and fruit. This is how we guarantee a balanced diet with our food tablets.

How quickly can the food tablets be delivered?

As soon as we receive your order, the goods are usually ready for shipment within 48–72 hours.

Small packs delivered by parcel post:

International: Delivery usually takes place within 3–5 working days.
